Zena O'Connor, PhD

A trained designer, Zena is one of a handful of people with a PhD that investigated the interface between colour and human response. Zena's consultancy focuses on evidence-based colour insight, validation and strategies for applied design and the built environment, and environmental visual literacy. Clients include Norna.AI (Sweden), Taylor Fry, Art Gallery of NSW, University of Sydney, University of NSW, Sydney Design School, and Resene Paints (NZ).   Passionate about sharing information, Zena founded the Colour Collective, Sydney. Zena has also developed and delivered seven TEQSA-compliant courses plus numerous workshops on colour theory and application, environmental visual litreracy and design.
