The Royal Womens Hospital is now offering Childbirth and Early Parenting education for Women's clients, using video livestreaming.

These classes will be offered via the WebEx platform.

As a participant, you will be able to access expert education and advice from one of the Womens childbirth educators in the comfort of your own home. One ticket is for both you and your partner or support person to participate. Places are limited so we recommend you book your spot as soon as possible. Please book the ticket using the pregnant person's name.

Topics that will be covered include:

Signs of labour, including when to come to hospital

Progress of labour and birth

Support in labour

Practical coping methods during labour

Medical options for pain management

Medical assistance for birth

Understanding breastfeeding

Safe sleeping and settling

Communicating with your baby

Community supports for the family

If you book a program but do not attend no refund will be given.
