Perimeter is thrilled to continue its programming initiative, Perimeter Talks, in 2018. Taking place approximately once a month, the series features lectures, panel discussions and more casual in-conversations with publishers, artists, curators, designers, writers and editors. The talks explore and address various themes and issues relating to contemporary photographic, art and design publishing – helping demystify, challenge and offer insight into publishing as a medium and a practice.
Our final talk for 2018, Soft Copy: in conversation, will see the founders of New York-based publishing imprint and design studio Soft Copy – Amy and Brian Kanagaki – discuss their approaches, motivations and methods for working with the photographic image. Since launching the studio in September the duo have published an eponymous publication, Soft Copy 001, offering a poetical vantage on the photography of Josephine Lochen, John CiamilloMassimo LeardiniOlivier KervernJody RogacAdam BellefeuilSarah BlaisBennie Julian GayMarius UhligDrew Vickers and Daniel Weiss. The talk will be followed by a launch.
