Perth WA - Educating the Nurse of the Future Consultation Workshop

An independent review of nursing preparation in Australia  Educating the Nurse of the Future was announced as a measure within the 2018/19 Federal Budget.

Led by Emeritus Professor Steven Schwartz AM, the Review will be future focussed and will consider how the education and preparation of nurses in Australia will ensure the nursing workforce is well placed to continue to meet the future needs of Australian communities and our health system. The Review will examine the preparation of registered and enrolled nurses and nurse practitioners.

This workshop is an opportunity for you to meet with the Review team and have your say on the future of nursing education in Australia. We invite stakeholders including nurses, students, consumers, managers, academics, employers and other health professionals to attend.

Please bring your wifi enabled electronic devices such as laptops, tablets or phones to access electronic polling software during the workshop.
