Pilates - All Abilities - Term 1 2020, Parramatta (Friday)
This Pilates class involves a series of exercises designed to tone deep abdominal muscles, strengthen gluteal and back muscles and improve posture. The instructor provides modifications for each exercise which allows participants to choose to work at beginner, intermediate or advanced level. This class will not only challenge your core strength, balance and flexibility, it will give you a full body workout leaving you feeling energized. No previous Pilates experience is necessary to join the class. Please note this program is for adults only and not suitable for those seeking Pilates as a form of therapy for past/ongoing injuries or other medical conditions. Participants must bring their own yoga/pilates mat. Introductory Price: $60 per term Number of Lessons : 10 Day and Dates : Every Friday from 7 February to 10 April 2020. Time : 12.15pm to 1:15pm Important Information : Spaces are limited due to room size capacities, Council employ a “first in best dressed policy” Registrations are essential. Program continuation is subject to participation rates and community interest. It is the responsibility of the participant to communicate all medical issues and injuries with the facilitator prior to facilitation. There are no ID requirements, however, teenage participants must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. What should I bring to the event? Yes, you can update your information via the Eventbrite website, you'll need to create a login. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, your name will appear on an attendance sheet. The facilitator will mark you as attended. What is the refund policy? If Council needs to cancel or transfer the program you will be entitled to a refund. Please note that the Eventbrite registration fee is nonrefundable. The term has already started; can I still join? Most programs are designed in a way that a participant could join at any point throughout the program. Enrolments will be kept open for this purpose. Can I pay as I go? Casual sessions? Council does not provide this option, attendance must be purchased as a term based package. Can I pay at the door?
