A free community event presented by the Prospect Local Environment Group - PLEG and City of Prospect for Plastic Free July.

Why use something once that will last forever? Single-use plastics are those items that are intended to be used once then discarded; think plastic shopping bags, plastic water bottles, plastic cups, straws and plastic packaging. This workshop will focus on the easy ways to make a difference in your everyday lives. Discover tips and DIY ideas to reduce your plastic footprint and how to reuse or recycle the plastics that you can't avoid.
