About this Event This workshop is catered especially for teens to empower you with: * An understanding of what stress is and how it directly effects your body and your mind, including the choices you make and actions you take. * Tools to reduce stress, anxiety and overwhelm. * Improved self-confidence and resilience. * Positive psychology and an increased feeling of general wellbeing. * More effective communication skills that can build stronger, healthier relationships. * Strategies that will help you be the very best version of yourself. IMPORTANT: This workshop is for teens aged from 12+ and their caregivers. While it is more beneficial for parents and teens to attend together, it is not a necessity. A parent/caregiver will need to sign the teen in and out if they are not attending. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0424 025 071. About Me Debbie is a Mindfulness and Wellbeing Educator, who is qualified in Meditation, Counselling, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy and Timeline Therapy, which she incorporates in her coaching techniques throughout her workshops. She is a mother of 3 and a primary trained teacher with over 25 years experience in the education system. Her passion is to inspire and empower, using simple tools that will enable people to create positive change and transform their lives. Workshop Overview • The science behind stress and the effects on the body and the mind. • Simple techniques and tools to prevent and reduce stress and anxiety, including mindfulness and meditation. • Techniques to increase self-confidence and resilience. • Stress management around study. • The science behind managing screen time. • Building strong and effective relationships with peers and adults, through positive communication and positive psychology. • Strategies to promote better sleep and general wellbeing. • Tools to foster mutual respect, compassion and consideration for yourself and others. • HOW TO. The practical application of these tools in everyday life.
