POSTPONED: Intersections of Queer Symposium 2020

**After much consideration, the IQS planning committee has decided to postpone IQS until May 2020. We want IQS to be for everyone and would like more time to plan and outreach so that we can have more workshops that reflect the full breadth and experiences of the LGBTQ2S+ community.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we appreciate your support in this decision.

Note: The event time has been temporarily changed to "May 1 - May 30" because that's the best we can do to "postpone" it on this platform. We'll update the confirmed time as soon as we have the venue re-booked.

IQS is a day of free workshops and gatherings by and for LGBTQ2S+ communities. Learn from the past, build connections in the present, and fight for the queer futures we need! This event is for all LGBTQ2S+ people, regardless of age, identity or community involvement. **Workshop details to be announced**

Notes:

- Lunch and a light breakfast will be provided.

- The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

- Children are welcome at the event. Books, toys and snacks for kids will be available in the kids' room, though no supervised childcare will be provided.

- Bus tickets will be available for those who need.

- Some venue spaces have large windows into the rest of the SUB building, while others are more private. Since it is a Saturday, the building should be fairly quiet.
