Prenatal Yoga Classes Bondi - 6 Week Course
Whether you are an experienced practitioner or new to yoga, this 6 week course will meet you wherever you are in your pregnancy journey.
This 6 week class is the perfect way to carve out time for you. Each Saturday, beginning on 29th of June, you will be guided through a one hour Yoga class specifically designed for mothers to be.
In Week 1 the renowned Dr Sumathi Rajendran will present a one hour lecture in addition to the Yoga class that will cover the physical changes of the body during pregnancy and the physiology of pregnancy & childbirth.
Dr Sumathi is a Specialist Obstetrician at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and and an ultrasound specialist. She is also a two time mum who practiced yoga both during the antenatal and post-natal period.
Leona Tan will support you on your journey - she is 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher, mental health researcher, and multi-tasking mum who is passionate about sharing her practice with mums and mums-to-be alike.
The classes are multi-faceted in their approach and include focused breathing techniques, meditation, as well as gentle and mindful movement.
Each class is designed to physically, emotionally, as well as mentally prepare you for labour and childbirth plus, you will also meet and bond with other expectant mums and be part of a supportive community.
Dates are: 29 June, 6,13,20,27 July & 3 August 2019
Times: Week 1 - 1:30pm - 3:30pm, Weeks 2-6 1:30pm-2:30pm
