PREPARING FOR CHANGE

“presentations & conversations to de-mystify and clarify a new landscape with NDIS”

Underpinned by the principles of family leadership, this forum is designed by families for families and their networks with an objective of supporting a smooth transition to the new National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The federal NDIS will roll-out in South Metropolitan districts on 1st July 2018. While it has been rolled out in some other areas already, the full roll-out in W.A. metro will run through to 2020. Given the imminent start date, this forum is targeting South metro families. However, families who are in line for future transition are also very welcome: the information shared will be useful for everyone who is hungry for information about the NDIS in WA.

As parents we all have many questions around this important transition period of change: your participation will give opportunity to explore and address issues and afford confidence.

Rest assured we will all go home fully informed and with a brief dot point plan to progressively become ready for July 1 and beyond
