Quickies: Secrets of the "new" A&R

The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW has put together a series of short but to the point presentations that help existing and new providers. The ACA NSW Quickies courses are only 2 hours or less and held throughout the year. They bring Approved Providers, Owners and Directors with industry specific information, advice, tips and even “tricks”.

Secrets of the "new" A&R

Let's be honest. Especially ACECQA "streamlined" the National Quality Framework beginning 1 February 2018, assessments and ratings have become more difficult and onerous for NSW-based early learning services.

In this ACA NSW Quickies session, learn the "secrets" about assessment and rating as conducted by the NSW Department of Education, including:

1. How does the NSW process for assessment and rating work vs the rest of Australia
2. How to best prepare you and your team
3. Know what to prepare, including your submissions (Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) or ACECQA's Self-Assessment Tool)
4. What to expect on the day and the "Pre A&R visit"
5. What to do when you get your draft rating and is not what you expected
