That feeling does exist in abundance on the dancefloor!

And you can start to experience it this now for an eight week Latin Dance Starter course designed specifically for beginners and taught by the iconic Rio Rhythmics Latin Dance Academy in the heart of West End.

10- WEEK COURSE DETAILS

You will explore the basics of 6 of the most popular Latin styles (including Salsa) by feeling the differences in the music and learning organic movement rather than just focusing on steps.

You'll learn about the cultural roots of the dance styles as you are guided through your classes and develop your basic steps and understanding of the different rhythms of each style.

We are experts in courses and you will be part of an ten-week experience including ten classes (with makeup classes if you miss one and want to catch up), two social events, support emails, learning videos, recommended playlists as well as member prices for our weekly parties.

It culminates with a sense of great achievement and connectedness to yourself and the people you shared the classes with. We also finish with a Festiva bringing together all the Term's starter students for an enjoyable evening.

COURSE PRICE - 

You are booking into an 10-week course, commencing the week commencing 16th March through to 24th May

$24wk, $240 in total inclusive.

Pay in full upfront or $48 deposit. 

Refunds? Yes - we're confident you will absolutely love the course! And we genuinely want you to love it. So if it's not right for you our Starter course is fully refundable, less a $25 cancellation fee up to the completion of your second class. Non-refundable after the second class.

COURSE TIMETABLE

Latin Dance Starter runs multiple times per term at different days of the week. Whichever time you select will be the date of your first class and the assumed day of all future classes. With that being said, we're flexible! If you are unable to attend one of your classes you can make up that class by joining a different class time.

- Saturdays 12:00pm

All our next courses commence in the week of 16th March and you can join through until the week of 30th March.

FAQs

Location? Studio 1, 163 Boundary Street. Upstairs above the French Patisserie

Do I need a partner? Bringing a partner is not required! Most students come without a partner.

What should I wear? Comfortable clothing, footwear that slides on wooden floors (you don't need special dance shoes).

Is there parking? There is street parking on Boundary Street and neighbouring local streets. Busses also run frequently along Boundary St.
