Join us for a celebration of Chicago's iconic Riverview Amusement Park. "Let's Remember Riverview" will be held at Links Hall 3111 N. Western Avenue. Chicago, IL 60618 (one block from Riverview!) Sunday, June 25th, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm (doors open at 4:00 pm). Keynote Speakers will be Author's and Riverview historians Derek Gee and Ralph Lopez, featuring a slide and powerpoint presentation on Riverview history. Film maker Phil Ranstrom will be discussing his documentary "I Remember Riverview" produced for WTTW Televison's Image Union. DJ Douglas Freedman of the Killer Diller Record Hop will be spinning dusties from the 1950's and 60's. There will be Riverview memorabilia on display. From Spacetaste Gallery in Elgin, John Solarz and son Tim will be exhibiting original art, and photographs. Master Miniature Craftsman Jerry Kasper will be exhibiting his "Shoot The Chutes" display and available for purchase. Raffles, Food, Drinks, Live Music, and a special guided tour of the Riverview Park area as it is today! We will donate a portion of the proceeds to "Together We Rise" a US 501c3 charitable organization.
