In his remarkable and witty book, The Time of Our Lives, Robert Dessaix takes the reader on an enlivening journey across the landscape of growing old. His focus isn't just on the challenges but the possibilities that come of old age.

One of Australia's most beloved writers and public intellectuals Robert has published extensively in literary non-fiction. He hosted the weekly Books and Writing program for ABC Radio National and has published translation of works by Dostoyevsky, Turgenev and a number or Russian poets.
