SAE Creative Workshops - Melbourne Campus

Are you creatively inclined and thinking about studying creative media? We are offering an exclusive three day workshop event in the January holidays – get behind the scenes and pursue your passion!
When: 21 January 2019 – 23 January 2020 | 10AM - 4PM each day
SAE Melbourne Campus is opening its doors this January for the SAE Creative Workshops, a three day program to expand your skills and work on inspiring creative projects in the fields of Animation, Audio, Design, Film or Games.
Don’t miss out on your chance to experience life as an SAE student, and discover what it means to be a creative professional in state-of-the-art facilities with industry experts by your side!
Across the three day workshops, attendees will work towards building a creative piece of work to take away for use in a portfolio or showreel. Attendees will receive a certificate of participation to acknowledge the creative work they have undertaken
Due to the tertiary level of the workshop content, this event is open to anyone aged 15yrs and above (Year 10 and over).
Spaces for this event are extremely limited.
All discipline workshops run at the same time as each other each day, therefore only one area of interest workshop can be attended by an individual.
Choose your area of interest:
ANIMATION
Learn the skills used in traditional 2D animation, 3D Modelling, character design, game art and visual effects.
AUDIO
Learn the skills used in recording studio production, electronic music production, live sound production, film sound and post production.
DESIGN
Learn the skills used in graphic design for print media, branding, pre-press, typography, digital design, web design and development.
FILM
Learn the skills used in pre-production, storytelling, screenwriting, camera operation, directing, producing, editing and post-production.
GAMES
Learn the skills used in game design, game psychology, analog games, social and mobile game development, programming and project management.
