Learn the Japanese embroidery technique 'Sashiko' from a well experienced local crafter Joy Doring. The term 'sashiko' means 'little stabs' and refers to the small stiches in this form of needlework. It often follows geometric patterns and can be used to embellish existing clothing or produced as artwork in it's own right. In these more waste conscious times it can be used to patch up existing well loved clothing.
