Search for a Star

In collaboration with Happy Daze Karaoke, we are on the look out for the next BIG thing in our Search for a Star!
Happy Daze Karaoke has previously staged quests at Ballina RSL, Lismore Workers Club and other major venues in the Northern Rivers. The return of ‘Search for a Star’ to Kingscliff will give singers the opportunity to display their talents & vie for the grand prize of $1800!
The quest is the ideal stepping stone for entertainers to gain the experience of competition. In a previous quest, one contestant, Stan Walker came 3rd in the grand final and the following year won Australian Idol!
‘Search for a Star’ will consist of 6 heats, 2 semi-finals and 1 grand final, a total of 9 weeks.
Sunday 26th January (3pm – 6pm NSW): Heat 1
Sunday 2nd February (3pm – 6pm NSW): Heat 2
Sunday 9th February (3pm – 6pm NSW): Heat 3
Sunday 16th February (3pm – 6pm NSW): Heat 4
Sunday 23rd February (3pm – 6pm NSW): Heat 5
Sunday 1st March (3pm – 6pm NSW): Heat 6
Sunday 8th March (3pm – 6pm NSW): Semi-Final 1
Sunday 15th March (3pm – 6pm NSW): Semi-Final 2
Sunday 22nd March (3pm – 6pm NSW): Grand Final
Placegetters in all heats and the grand final will receive cash prizes.
Overall winner: $1800
2nd place: $900
3rd place: $500
