Tempo Sessions 2019

Tempo Sessions is a cross-cultural musical exchange initiative taking place in the City of Port Phillip to provide creative development opportunities for new and emerging artists through musical collaboration and networking. Tempo Sessions are Creative Collaboration Workshops for emerging artists and are great opportunity to expand networks and create new music collaborations. Workshops are free and will be mentored by Music Producer, Oscar Jimenez. Participants should be above 18 years of age, have some level of musicianship and the ability to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds. Participants are encouraged to bring their instruments and to attend all sessions to get most out of the experience. On 16 June 2019, the amazing Indian Tabla master, Jay Dagbar, will present an introduction to the Indian Tabla and percussion. On 30 June 2019, musician virtuoso, Bass player and composer, Sheldon Da Silva, will present some of his techniques and music influences.  There will be a jam session at the end!
