The She Loves Data Introduction to Data Analytics workshop is designed as an introduction into the logical thinking behind data analytics and business intelligence. It aims to provide a good overview of data analytics infrastructure and best practices through a hands-on case study. This time participants will get to build their own analytics solution on real world data with real business problems using Power BI. All this with great guidance and support by experienced data analytics professionals.
This course aspires to light a spark of curiosity that could end up leading to a career with endless opportunities, where the sky is the limit. Literally.
Prerequisites
This workshop covers the foundations of data analytics and is designed for beginners in the data field. There are no formal prerequisites to taking this course, but please check the content before registering to make sure that it meets your requirements. No prior knowledge of analytics or programming skills is needed, we'll start with the foundations.

Speakers
Quinn is Business Analyst and Project Manager at Meiro, and she loves data-CRM, DMP, offline, online, apps, social, IoT, and more! She's working to create a new culture of data activation and accessibility that sets data free from rigid IT infrastructure.
Nelya is a Data Analyst in Meiro. Financial analyst in the past, she has found her passion in writing SQL queries, Python code and building efficient data pipelines. In her free time she leads Singapore chapter of She Loves Data, learns new tools, or takes care of her cats.
Grace enables business users to get insights from their data fast, reliably, and flexibly. A former analyst, she started Lightdotlab to train others how to build data models and reports that can be changed on-the-fly to facilitate C-level decision-making. Past collaborations include Changi Airport Group, Scoot, and Societe Generale. Coaching people to get the most out of their data is what excites her the most!

You'll need only your laptop. And don't forget the charger as it's going to be a long day!
Do I need to install any software before the workshop?
No, you don't! Just bring a laptop and your positive learning attitude :)
