SOUTHERN ORCHID SPECTACULAR!

SOUTHERN ORCHID SPECTACULAR TO BE HELD AT SUTHERLAND BASKETBALL STADIUMWE HAVE MOVED! Orchid flowers of flawless quality will be on show at the Southern Orchid Spectacular to be relocated to Sutherland Basketball Stadium on Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October 2019. It is proudly presented by the not-for-profit Orchid Society of NSW in conjunction with Eastern Suburbs Orchid Society and Sutherland Shire Orchid Society. Keen orchid grower and Society President Jan Robinson said the move to a larger venue will allow vendors more room to demonstrate their contemporary finesse in plant breeding. They will offer a big range of eye catching exotic hybrids and species from all over the world, as well as Australian native plants not often seen by the public.Ms Robinson urged everyone to visit the Southern Orchid Spectacular Show to enjoy the spectacular floral display of high quality orchids that will be showcased. “If you are already growing orchids, this is a rare opportunity to come and seek the advice of experts who will be on hand all weekend, to help everyone understand how to successfully grow this colourful and popular flowering pot plant, including potting requirements, fertiliser needs, as well as pest and disease control options” she added.A large number of volunteers are working hard to make the Southern Orchid Spectacular an outstanding success in 2019, and the public are invited to support this event by coming along.Vendors from overseas and Australia include: Orchid Species Plus,Alice’s Orchids, Fong Ping Orchids, Tinonee Orchid Nursery,Sims Orchid,Kiwi Orchid Bark,Johnston’s Orchids, Dark Star Orchids,Royale Orchids,Archie’s Orchids,Nicky Zurcher Orchids, Kuranda Exotic Orchids, Ezi-Gro Orchids, Sakdisri & Daughters, and TyTags/Swagman Sprayers.
