POSTPONED Spanish Night: Fundraising event for the Australian Red Cross

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE THE COVID19 PANDEMIA.

FURTHER DATE WILL BE RELEASED AT FIRST INSTANCE.

Fires have shrunken towns and devastated communities across Australia for months in an unprecedented manner. Lives have been lost and many people have been stranded. But once the fires are finally ended and the initial rush of good will and support has subsided, many of those impacted are left to pick up the pieces alone leaving local businesses, communities and full neighbourhoods to rely on our financial support for their recovery.

The Australian Spanish Socio-Cultural Association recognises the relevance and the value of solidarity and community support, and would like to invite you to a tuneful fundraising event full of Spanish flamenco, rumbas, and much more from the altruistic hand of our best dancers and singers in Queensland.

Join us at Ron Hurley Theatre, Seven Hills Hub (8 Tallowwood St, Seven Hills QLD 4170) and let’s fundraise together for the Discovery Relief and Recovery Appeal of the Australian Red Cross. You will enjoy some of the biggest artist like Flamenco Soul, Flamenco Studio, Tania Balil Trio, Sol Flamenco and Kate Friebe.

The Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund has allowed the Australian Red Cross to deploy 1,285 trained staff and volunteers to disaster-affected communities. In more than 69 evacuation and recovery centres, their emergency teams have been ready to welcome people who have fled from the fires. Ready to listen, ready to comfort. Ready to help arrange emergency accommodation or locate a missing loved one.

All the benefits of he event will be donated to The Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund of the Australian Red Cross who has produced a Letter of Authority allowing TASSCA to fundraise.
