REGISTRATION LINK: https://www.registernow.com.au/secure/Register.aspxE=37083 SERIES DESCRIPTION: The Twilight Runs are a two-day, two-event series occurring in the evening, on 29 February & 1 March. Each evening visits a similar but different course along the coastline of Holdfast Bay. The first event, the Star Run, occurs along Brighton foreshore and second event, the Moon Run, occurs along the Glenelg foreshore. The Twilight Runs are strategically planned to occur on the final days of summer, giving us a chance to enjoy some of the last warm evenings of the season. Participants who complete distances in both events are eligible to purchase a Series medal at cost ($10). **Due to permit constraints, THERE IS A CAP OF 45 PEOPLE PER EVENT.** COURSE DESCRIPTION The Star Run utilises the course of ‘BrightonUp’, following a 5km loop along the Brighton foreshore, starting and ending at the Brighton jetty. Distances of more than 5km will involve more than one loop. COURSE MAP & AID See Facebook event page / pinned post for course map. There will be 1 aid station on the course. It is present at the start/finish of each loop and is passed twice per loop – approximately 4km into the loop and at the start/finish of the loop. The aid station will have lollies, hydration, and first aid. DISTANCES & START TIMES: 42.195km (17:00) 30km (17:00) Half marathon (17:30) 15km (18:00) 10km (18:00) 7.5km (18:00) 5km (18:00) 2.5km (18:00) BIB COLLECTION, RACE BRIEFING, & START LOCATION Bib collection is exclusively available on the day, starting 30 minutes prior to one’s elected distance’s start time. The race briefing begins promptly 15 minutes prior to a distance’s start time. The event starts and finishes at Brighton Jetty. PRICES: Between $9-$60, depending on distance and registration period. Series discounts available – just choose ‘register for the series’ instead of ‘register for an individual event’ when prompted through the event registration link.
