Have you ever met a baby named Beryl in the last decade? Because Steph sure hasnt!

Names come in and out of fashion and Steph thinks thats pretty weird. Would your life be different if you had a nickname? Even naming structures vary from country to country. So, really, whats in a name?! Steph reckons we should find out. And thats why youre invited to come on stage for an interview in this interactive and surreal show where stand-up meets chat show!

Join the rising star of Australian Comedy Steph Tisdell as she examines?baby?naming trends, ponders some of lifes biggest mysteries, dissects the human condition and tries to find a?baby?Beryl?in a hilarious new hour of comedy.??

Steph is a proud Indigenous woman and is quickly making a name for herself as one of Australias funniest Aboriginal Comedians, putting her in a unique position to encourage other Aboriginal artists to come forward and showcase why theyre the funniest race in the world. Steph recently performed with the Aboriginal Comedy All Stars in Edinburgh and London to sold out audiences and rave reviews, she is a regular on The Project, co-hosted Triple J during Naidoc week with David Woodhead, her 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala clip went viral and she was handpicked by Nazeem Hussain to appear on the Stand Up for Christchurch benefit which aired on Channel 10. Stephs comedy is vulnerable, real and insightful. Her witty observations challenge stereotypes in non-offensive and hilarious ways.

Steph Tisdell is a glorious powerhouse of First Nations funny The Scotsman

Unapologetically cheeking and brimming with zest and original material ????? Ed Fest Magazine

shes got an ease with an audience and a joke strike rate that many comedians with far more experience would envywarmly funny, immediately relatable, fast on her feet and generous with her audience. ???? Time Out
