Across the fun workshops, SAE Study For A Day attendees will work towards building a creative piece of work to take away for use in a portfolio or showreel. Attendees will receive a certificate of participation to acknowledge the creative work they have undertaken.
Due to the tertiary level of the workshop content, this event is open to anyone aged 15yrs and above (Year 10 and over).

Tickets are $35.00 per person (incl. bf + GST) - all tickets are non-refundable.

This Studio Production workshop will introduce participants to the principles of studio sound production, including recording and music production software, studio signal flow, microphone techniques, and other audio elements including post-production and mixing techniques.
This Music Production workshop will introduce participants to the principles of electronic music production, including Ableton and other music production software, sequencing, synthesis, and mixing, as well as other electronic techniques such as sound design.
Attendees will arrive before 8:45 am and spend the day in the classroom and/or studio. Lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements asap - email m.sutilo@sae.edu
This is not an Open Day. Study for a day is a workshop, where students get the chance to try equipment, and work on real coursework, in order to assist with their career decision making. Attendees spend their day in the classroom, working with lecturers and industry professionals, to experience what student life is like at SAE.
Yes - this event is open to school students aged 15yrs and above (Year 10 and over).
Parking: there is very limited parking available around the Adelaide campus. We recommend choosing public transport or using the paid parking located behind the campus.
We recommend bringing along: notebook and pen, a USB with a minimum of 2GB space, a water bottle, a jumper or warm clothing for air-conditioned rooms, any other items that you will need to participate in the classroom for the day (e.g. medications, stationery).
