A Logan West support group for family and friends of those with personality disorders.
People with personality disorders can behave in extreme ways that can place a heavy burden on those around them. Behaviours such as frequent mood swings, extreme dependence on other people, narcissism (extreme vanity), continually stormy personal relationships, social isolation, angry outbursts without any good reason, unfounded suspicion and mistrust of others, difficulty making friends, a need for instant gratification, poor impulse control, alcohol or substance abuse.
You may be a family member of friend of someone with borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, or any of the other types of personalities that cause emotional and relational damage to you and your family.
These meetings are not intended for those with personality disorders.
When: The 3rd Tuesday night of the month, 7pm-9pm.
Park Ridge Connect Support Groups offers non-religious, open meetings for family members and friends affected by addiction, personality disorders, and high-demand groups. These meetings are open to those in the Logan West community and provide an opportunity to talk and listen to others in a non-judgemental, safe environment. A mental health professional will be facilitating the meetings.
