Sutro Native Plant Nursery Volunteer Day

PROPAGATION AND TRANSPLANTING at Mt. Sutro Native Plant Nursery
Every Wednesday, 9:30am – 12:30pm
Come enjoy a morning of Stewardship at the Sutro Nursery!
Nursery activities include sowing seeds, transplanting plants, tending to our demonstration gardens, planting out on the mountain, and more, depending on the needs of the day. No experience necessary, tools and instruction provided.
Please bring water and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, sturdy shoes, and layers.
Long pants and closed toe shoes are required.
Groups of 4 or more are required to register in advance to ensure space.

The Sutro Native Plant Nursery is located at
476 Johnstone Dr,
at the upper intersection of Johnstone and Behr, above the UCSF Student Housing. Parking is located at
195 Behr
and the nursery entrance is just past the parking at
476 Johnstone.
