Let's talk about "Online Security"

We live in a world where we are all beginning to wonder just how safe our information is on the internet... and what are the cybercrime threats that we should be aware of... and most importantly: what are the precautions being developed to create a safer online experience?
Adriana Marais will be joining us at Golden Horse to discuss how AI is being developed to fight cybercrime. Adriana is not only the director of innovation for global tech giant SA, but she is also one of the final 100 MARS ONE candidates.
Tim Brown will be coming to challenge us with what the POPI Act actually means to us. Our South African "Protection of Personal Information Act" has many unanswered questions in many of our minds and Tim has agreed to share his expertise.
As usual, AppCity invites small business owners to hire a stand for R250/R500 and showcase their products and/or services. You will be provided with a table and chairs and tickets for stand holders. A Small R250 stand includes one ticket and the Big R500 stand includes 3 tickets. We encourage stands to hold a competition for event attendees to enter.
Tickets are R50 for adults and R20 for Students and Children.
