Travelling Film Festival Townsville

The Travelling Film Festival (TFF), the regional tour of Sydney Film Festival, will return to Townsville from 22—26 November 2019. The program will showcase eight incredible feature films and three fascinating documentaries direct from the 66th Sydney Film Festival, at Warrina Cineplex.

The Festival is Ben Lawrence’s beautifully acted debut feature Hearts and Bones, starring Australian actor Hugo Weaving (Mystery Road, SFF 2014) as a war photographer, alongside first-time actor Andrew Luri as a refugee. The film centres around the relationship of these two men, from very different backgrounds, who bond over their shared trauma.
