Peter is a 4th generation resident of Burnside with personal and family manufacturing connections to the Malt Extract factory which was situated in Tusmore Avenue, Tusmore. The factory formally produced and supplied Fauldings and AM Bickfords Pharmaceuticals, Bakers, Home brew distributors and other leading brand Manufacturers. A plaque in the nature strip 83 - 85 was erected to show the previous Burnside factory site.
