Come to Barcelona to see the future now!

This year the fastest-growing startup event in the world 4YFN will open its doors for the fifth time in Barcelona for about 20000 guests and more than 600 startups. It will run during the MWC, but huge numbers of visitors come to Catalonia not just to see the demonstration of new smartphone models and apps. In the recent years, the 4YFN has grown into an independent world-known startup event.

Thanks to the visa free travel to the EU, now Ukrainian companies enjoy seamless planning of their participation in top events, and UkraineIS, together with the 4YFN team, decided to start a dedicated press coverage of Ukraine@4YFN-MWC.

It is high five not only for 4YFN but also to Ukrainian companies at the event as it is the fifth year of Ukraine’s participation and there are five different exhibitions hosted by Ukrainian companies! Ukrainian representatives participate in 4YFN and MWC in several ways.

Other companies and startups from Eastern Europe are also present at the 4YFN and MWC.

Since the launch of the 4YFN, or Four Years From Now, in 2014, Ukraine has played the key role in this startup event. A week before the launch of the first 4YFN, the biggest acquisition in tech history was announced: Facebook bought WhatsApp for US$19B and CEO & Cofounder of WhatsApp Jan Koum became a global celebrity billionaire overnight. Jan Koum, a Ukrainian-American inventor and computer programmer, moved from Ukraine to the USA at the age of 16.
