About the speakers:
Ahmad Alfisyahrin – Director, Shariah – Al Rajhi Bank (Malaysia) Berhad 
Ahmad Alfisyahrin is currently the Director of Shariah at Al Rajhi Bank (Malaysia) Berhad. Previously, he was the Global Head of Shariah at First Gulf Bank based in the United Arab Emirates. Alfisyahrin also had a balance experience in his career where he was a Vice President in Global Markets and Treasury Investment for Al Rajhi Bank and Shariah Documentation Counsel for Sukuk and Syndication Business for Global HSBC Amanah.
His proficiency also includes Shariah structuring and documentation for new products and transactions. He holds a Bachelor in Shariah (Honours) from Islamic University of Madinah.
Fariz Balfaqih – Head, Investment Account – Hong Leong Islamic Bank 
Fariz Balfaqih is currently the Head of Investment Account at Hong Leong Islamic Bank. Prior to this, he was with Al Hilal Bank PJSC in Abu Dhabi managing the Product & System Department, Wholesale Banking Group (WBG) from 2010 to 2016. Prior to joining Al Hilal Bank, Fariz Balfaqih worked for Al Rajhi Bank from the year 2006 to 2009. Within this term, Fariz Balfaqih was responsible for the structuring-execution of assets and liabilities solutions for large institutional clients, including pitch-blueprint for syndications and Islamic Capital Market transactions.
Fariz Balfaqih graduated from AB Freemen School of Business, Tulane University with a Bachelor in Finance and a Certified Excellence Assessor by the European Foundation Quality Management (EFQM). He is also an active trainer in the subject pertains to Islamic Banking and has been an associate speaker for Financial Services Volunteer Corps, USA (FSCV) since 2013.
Baizurah Jabar – Senior Research Analyst, Strategy & Research – MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Berhad
Baizurah currently is attached with MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Berhad. She started as an auditor with EY and moved on to the Private Debt Securities Department of Securities Commission. While she was with KFH, she structured and executed Sukuk transactions. She then moved on to Danajamin and set up the Kafalah platform for Danajamin.
She also oversaw the underwriting exercise of Financial Guarantee. She has a Degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of East London and a Master Degree in Islamic Finance Professional by INCEIF.
Khairil Anuar, Principal – Masryef Management House
Khairil has been an international banker for over 27 years, where the past 18 years has been in Islamic Finance. Over the course of his career as a banker, Khairil has had a significant exposure and experience across a multitude of areas including wholesale banking, syndications, trade finance, debt and capital market, asset management, retail banking, cash management, banking operation, system implementation, and product management to name a few. Khairil’s last posting was as the Head of Structuring, Product Management and Business Intelligence for Wholesale Banking Group at Al Hilal Bank, Abu Dhabi, where he served for almost 10 years. He holds an MBA from Saint Louis University in Missouri, USA.
