UX and Bagels 6: Heuristic Analysis
Eat Bagels, Do UX
For the 6th edition of UX & Bagels, we will be looking at Usability Heuristics and Heuristic Analysis.
Heuristics are rules of thumb that can tell us how usable a product is - whether it's a website, an app, or even a non-digital service. Using these rules of thumb, we can get quick feedback on how to improve a product.
In this morning session, let's come together, eat bagels, and learn how to use these heuristics to quickly evaluate a product and identify possible improvements. We will go through:
- What makes heuristics useful
- Some lists of usability heuristics
- How to carry out a heuristic analysis of a website
