Our Volunteer Marshals help St James Parish in the implementation of health protocols for the safety of everyone concerned. Marshals are not to be over 70 years old. You are advised to contact the parish office if you are sick or have symptoms of colds, flu, etc during chosen days of volunteering, so that office will find a replacement volunteer.
Our Marshals, apart from writing down pertinent information of each person coming inside the church for private prayer, are responsible for making sure that the number of people inside the church do not exceed the limit as prescribed by existing rules (10 persons until 11th June 2020, and 20 persons from 12th June). The Marshal of the hours also monitors that persons coming in and out of the church clean their areas using the provided hand-wipes.
