The latest thinking in diabetic foot care, including live case studies in surgery About this Event The highly charged vascular program facilitates peer to peer education through lectures, topical debates, industry sponsored symposia, and live clinical demonstrations of emerging techniques for lower limb revascularisation below the knee. Demonstrations include artherectomy, lithotripsy, and venous arterialisation for the diabetic foot. Primarily aimed at established and trainee Vascular Surgeons, this is also an opportunity for the wider multidisciplinary team involved in diabetic foot care to learn about the contemporary options for revascularising the diabetic foot. The program will therefore be of educational interest to General Surgeons practising in remote and rural regions, Podiatrists, Podiatric Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons and Orthopaedic Surgeons.Places are strictly limited because the event is in a working hospital. Bookings close 5 December unless booked out beforehand.
