We will be discussing the ACEM steriliastion policy and well as recommendations from ASUM. Michael Bogseth with discuss a 'probe cover'audit he has recently carried out. This will be followed by an open discussion with a focus on probe covers and differences in departmental sterilisaion policies.
Following this, there will include a hands-on procedural ultrasound workshop where participants will learn in small groups. We aim to target a broad spectrum of health professionals. Although our priority is to cater for Emergency Doctors, including trainees, we encourage all health staff whom Point of Care ultrasound is relevant to their practice to come along.
