For as long as we can remember, we've pulled up a bar stool with you every Thursday and Saturday to talk all things Scotch, American, Irish and International whisky.

Hippo's weekly whisky tastings are BACK, baby!

We've adjusted our sessions to make sure we're taking care of our guests and our crew as restrictions ease. So, what does your tasting look like?

We're taking you through 6 whiskies from around the world. You'll have your own table with a cheese plate to tuck into over the 1.5 hours of whisky chat. Lucy will be taking you through flavour, history and production.

Hippo is an open, inclusive and safe space. If you've ever had a question about whisky, wanted to learn how to do it better, or just really, really like to sip on it, this is for you.

We're able to sit down for a set whisky tasting, however the bar is not open for trade. This means that we won't be able to hang out afterward with a dram. Hold in there team, we can't wait for that time to come either.
