The window of the devil / La ventana del diablo

Hikers!!

Again, we will try to do this hike, always we've had problems to go there (snow, bus strike) but we think that now we could try our last time.

The windor of the evil is in La Barranca, near to Navacerrada village. The level of this hike is Medium,  it’s not  gonna be a long one with only 11 and a positive altitude gain of around 400m. Make sure you have a basic fitness level for the uphill parts of the route.

When you register in the link you will receive the detaills of the Meeting Point in Madrid. The hike will be around 9:00 to 18:00 (if you comming to Madrid with public transport) The expect time of the hiking is 5-6 hours.

You should bring:

- Hiking Boots, tracking boots.

- Waterproof (Maybe we will have some storm)

- Water and food (Sandwiches, snacks and 2l of wáter)

-Other stuff you may need: Hat or cap, sun cream and some cash since we always go for a drink at a local bar after hiking.

Vamos a intentar por tercera vez la ventana del diablo. Las otras veces siempre hemos tenido problemas como nieve o huelga de autobuses pero como bien se dice en español, a la tercera va la vencida. Por ello lo intentaremos por última vez.

El nivel de esta ruta es Media y no son muchos kilómetros, solo 11 y una altitud acumulada de 460 metros.

Cuando te registres en el link recibirás la información del Metting Point en Madrid. La ruta será alrededor de las 9 hasta las 18:00 (si tu vienes desde Madrid y con transporte público). El tiempo estimado de la caminata es de 5-5,5horas.

Cosas para traer:

-          Zapatos cómodos para andar (Recomendable de tracking o de montaña, pero se podría hacer en deportivas)

-          Ropa cómoda y chubasquero (Puede que haya alguna tormenta)

-          Agua (2L, hay alguna fuente en el camino)

-          Comida (Comeremos por ahí por lo que recomendamos que traiga algo de comida)

-          Dinero (Para tomar algo después y para los super guías)
