Workshop s Daphnou Horenczyk

Workshop will consists of a constant negotiation between the will and the listening, between determination and research.In these sessions, participants will acquire tools to reconnect with a deep awareness of feeling and perception. They will work towards rebuilding the connections between bodies and bringing them back to their perceptive function. Throughout the sessions they will focus on the following principles: letting go of presumptions and judgment; playing with the self-image; and exposing the sensorial and emotional systems in order to allow movement to be channeled through body and space. They shall engage with these themes in a variety of physical tasks and images, as well as through discussion and reflection.As a part of the workshop, the participants will work on short solos, which will be shown on January 31st (for those who want to show). Participants can bring a solo they’ve already been working on, and if they don’t have anything prepared, we will take time to create it in the workshop.Workshop is five days long and will be taking place from 18:00 till 21:30.More information about the instructor can be found at her website.
