Want to break a world record? Want to do it for a good cause?
Join 1,000 people on 29/2/2020  and let's start Breaking History!

Saturday, 29 February 2020

We will attempt the world record for the largest human image of a house. The current world record is 787 people and our goal of 1,000 people will represent the 100,000 homeless people in Australia right now.

HOW:

  1. Register and collect a poncho (even after registering online you still need to check in to collect your poncho to secure your place - limited to 1000 places).
  2. Listen out for your poncho colour to be announced and then head to the entry point. Be sure you are counted as you enter the Plaza.
  3. Put your hood on, and stand in place for 5 minutes. Wait for the announcement... Did we break the record??? Listen up for the fundraising tally announcement.

Please stay around and have a photo with the official Guinness World Record plaque and call yourself a World Record holder!

WHERE:

The Flour Mill of Summer Hill

16 Flour Mill Way, Summer Hill, NSW 2130 Australia

WHY:

We are coming together to raise and awareness for Youth Off The Streets, break the current world record and shine a light on homelessness in Australia!

COST:

Participation is completely FREE!

WHO:

EG, Ryan Avery and 1,000 participants from the Summer Hill community!

With thanks to our generous event sponsors for making this possible:

FAQ:

How will we know if we have broken the record?

A representative from GUNNESS WORLD RECORDS™ will be on-site to make sure we follow all the rules. They will announce it on the day if we are successful.

Can kids participate?

Absolutely! They just need to be able to stand in place with their hood on for 5 minutes

How long will it take?

We stand in place for just 5 minutes. It will take around 15 minutes to get
everyone in their spot. The rest of the day is a celebration!

Can I come at the last minute?

The first 1000 people who check in on the day will get places in the house. If you arrive late, please cheer us on!

Can I get a photo with the official GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ plaque?

Yes! You can get a professional photo which will be emailed to you after the event. We will also send you a video of the day. All free!

What does it cost?

It's FREE to participate!

If it is free, how can I support Youth Off The Streets?

The biggest contribution you can make is participating. This house is a visual symbol of the scale of homelessness in Australia.

Will there be water, food and drinks available?

Food and drinks will be available for purchase with local vendors.

How can I get there?

Come via public transportation (Lewisham West light rail or Summer Hill heavy rail). Parking is limited.
