New Years Eve Sydney Harbour

The world-famous Sydney Harbour New Years Eve fireworks spectacular pre-show entertainment fireworks starts at 6pm, with a thrilling air show above beautiful Sydney Harbour. The aerial acrobatics is followed by a tug boat’s splendid water displays.

There are two dazzling fireworks displays. The first is at 9pm for families with young children and then at the stroke of midnight, fireworks are launched from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and seven barges on the gleaming harbour for a spectacular start to the New Year.

In between the pyrotechnic shows is the enchanting Harbour of Light Parade at 9.15pm. Illuminated ships glide across one of the world’s great natural harbours in a mesmerising dance of lights. And throughout the night, the harbour sparkles with boats of all sizes decorated in colourful lights.
