Yoga Class at the Sydney Buddhist Centre
Yoga invites you to move consciously while connecting to your breathe. It helps to slow our minds down, bring awareness inwards and facilitates the stillness required for meditation. Classes are open to all, regardless of finance, experience, age, shape, size and ability. Classes led by certified yoga teachers Kate Sherman, Mariam Nakhla, Betsy Lea from Revel in Motion Yoga and Amelie Patrux from Feel-in(g) Slow Yoga . EVERY SUNDAY @ 8.30 AM (Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class as we start teaching at 8.30 sharp and you might interfere with other students who arrived on time). All Welcome | By Donation ( as much or as little as you can). Experience Level: All - For all levels of experience This class is BY DONATION - Our community at the Sydney Buddhist Centre is based on 'dana', the Sanskrit term for generosity – people giving their time and energy to create something together. We aim to offer our activities open-handedly. Please feel free to contribute as much or as little as you can after each class. There is a donation bowl available. Our teachers come on a voluntary basis. FAQs Do I have to bring my own yoga mat? No, we provide all yoga props for this class including mats. They are second-hand but kept clean by cleaning them regularly. Feel free to bring your own if you wish or bring a towel to cover the mat.
