Internationally acclaimed pianist Yundi 李雲迪 tends to attract hyperbolic headlines wherever he performs. In 2018, he will head to Australia & New Zealand for his first-ever concert tour in this October 2018.
YUNDI was propelled onto the international stage when he won first prize at the XIV Chopin International Piano Competition at the age of 18, becoming the youngest and first Chinese winner in the history of the renowned competition. Since then, he has been regarded as an international piano star, also a leading exponent of Chopin’s music.
One of the leading pianists in this generation of virtuosi will let you fall in love again with this most beloved instrument as Yundi brings his flair and warmth to music that piano lovers will rejoice in. From Chopin Piano Concert No.1 and Chopin Piano Concert No.2, Yundi shows not only his technical brilliance, but ability to convey intense emotion with personality and flair, as a soloist, and a conductor for his first Australian and New Zealand debut tour.
